As a court-appointed receiver for property in financial distress, Anchor acts as an unbiased third party, stepping in to carry the authority of the court to bear on the preservation and protection of the property. Anchor has worked successfully with the court, banks and other lenders, as well as borrowers, to preserve and protect properties while they are under the jurisdiction of the court.Anchor has the experience to act as Receiver in all forms of cases and all types of property to maintain, administer and/or operate the property pursuant to court orders. Since Anchor is highly skilled in property management, construction management, real-estate development and court-appointed receiver loan work-out procedures, our services are flexible enough to meet the specific needs of most properties and client organizations as well as the court.
Each property is analyzed to develop strategies to meet general property preservation goals, while keeping in mind the goal to maximize the value of the property, while it is in ownership transition. Anchor prioritizes its services in property management in compliance with court orders. These professional services are provided economically by Anchor’s staff. We also work extensively with professional legal, engineering, environmental and marketing consultants who can add their expertise in developing an overall strategy for the property.
Receiverships require leadership and management skills integrated with hands-on involvement. Anchor excels in this area and has the ability to build consensus among the various parties involved in a particular property.
